The Main Components Of CNC Machine Tools

Modern CNC machine tools are CNC machine tools, usually composed of numerical control operating system and machine tool body, which are specially used to process metal or wood. The main parts are as follows.

1) CNC device: the computer numerical control device (CNC device) is the core of the CNC system, which is composed of a microprocessor (CPU), a memory, a I / O interface and a peripheral logic circuit.

2) CNC panel: CNC panel is the control panel of CNC system, mainly composed of monitors and keyboards. Through keyboard and display, system management and input and edit of NC program and related data are realized.

3) programmable logic controller PLC:PLC is a kind of universal automatic control device based on microprocessor, which is used to complete various logic operations and sequential control of CNC machine tools. For example: spindle start stop, tool replacement, coolant switch and other auxiliary actions.

4) machine tool operation panel: the general numerical control machine tool all arranges a machine tool operation panel, which is used to carry on some necessary operation to the machine tool under manual mode, and to carry on the necessary intervention to the machine tool operation under the automatic mode. Various buttons and switches are arranged on it.

5) servo system: servo system is divided into feed servo system and spindle servo system, feed servo system mainly consists of feed servo unit and servo feed motor. It is used to complete the movement of the tool frame and the worktable.  The spindle servo system is used for spindle driving of CNC machine tools, usually by constant torque speed regulation and constant power speed regulation. In order to meet certain machining requirements, spindle and feed drive can be controlled synchronously.

6) machine tool body: the design and manufacture of the machine tool body should meet the needs of NC machining first. It has the characteristics of large rigidity, high precision and adaptable to automatic operation. Because of the general use of stepless speed regulation technology, the feed movement and the transmission mechanism of the main drive are greatly simplified or even cancelled to meet the high precision. Transmission requirements, widely used ball screw, rolling guide and other high-precision transmission parts. In order to improve productivity and meet the requirements of automatic processing, automatic tool holder and automatic fixture for automatic change of workpiece are also adopted.
